Minimalist Interior Design

Minimalism is not emptiness. It is the discipline of having fewer things, chosen well, held in a room where the storage is good enough that surfaces can stay clear.

Warm minimalism

A minimal room that is cold has usually failed on material rather than on quantity. We keep the object count low and the material richness high: plaster with a visible hand, timber with real grain, wool and linen with weight, stone with movement in it.

Negative space is planned, not left over. We decide which walls stay empty and protect them.

  • Storage designed to absorb everything that lives on surfaces
  • Three to four material tones, no more
  • Object count reduced deliberately, room by room
  • Texture carrying the interest instead of pattern
  • Lighting used to model surfaces, not flatten them

Fewer things, better rooms.
